Notes: 

Adriana was studying medicine in Prague when she participated in a modelling contest and won. She had to leave her Slovakian homeland to start her modelling career in Paris.

Adriana has the longest known legs of any model at almost 50 inches (125cm) & appeared in the Guinness Book of Records (European edition) in 1998 as "The model with the longest legs in the world", though this record has also been held by models Nadja Auermann (44" / 112cm) in 1997 and 1999 and Ana Hickmann (46" / 117cm) in 2000.

Adriana met her French football player husband Christian Karembeu on a flight from Milan to Paris in 1998 and they were married in December of the same year.

She was a co-presenter of the Italian programme "Domenica In 2000" for six months and is involved in charity work with the Red Cross.
